Lansdale Beer Fest

The Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival Committee is a locally organized, locally driven group of Lansdale, PA citizens who recognize the need for local residents to take ownership and responsibility for the financial well being and health of local charities, who give so much to our community in which we live.  Through large and small events involving the tasting, education and enjoyment of beer—often paired with food and/or entertainment—our primary goal is to raise money for these Lansdale non-profit organizations.  All proceeds of these events will be funneled back to deserving local charities.  Our secondary goal is to provide as many adults as possible with a tasting experience that will lead to a greater exposure to and appreciation of the different varieties of beer (malts, ales, lagers, stouts, etc.), with special emphasis on locally brewed beers.

The Lansdale Beer Tasting Festival (LBTF) is committed to:

• Support local Lansdale Charities with fundraising activities and work to gain greater awareness for their causes.
• Provide events centered around tasting and enjoying the varieties of craft beers—especially regionally brewed ones–as well as the pairing of foods and the inclusion of entertainment
• Work in conjunction with the Lansdale Borough Administration and local Business Community to utilize the event to drive people to the downtown district as part of overall revitalization efforts.
• Provide residents and guests of the greater North Penn region with an event that will increase quality of life and recreational enjoyment for the adult community.

The LBTF was founded in 2009 by residents of the West Ward of Lansdale, PA.
